Sticking EGR valves, blocked coolers and carboned-up inlets cause rough idle, smoke, poor economy and limp mode. We test the system, clean what can be cleaned and give you a lasting fix — on site.
Exhaust gas recirculation puts hot, sooty exhaust back through the inlet. Over time the valve sticks, the cooler clogs or leaks and the inlet manifold and swirl flaps coke up — which shows up as a rough idle, black smoke, hesitation, poor economy and stored fault codes.
We test valve operation and flow with live data, inspect the cooler and inlet, then clean the affected parts or repair the fault. Where a vehicle's use makes it appropriate, software-based EGR and swirl-flap solutions are available and are always agreed with you first.

Is EGR work often paired with DPF or AdBlue work?
Very often — soot from a failing EGR is what blocks DPFs, and the same vehicle frequently has SCR faults too. We check the whole emissions system in one visit.
Can you do it at my yard?
